Why We're Different

Several distinctive competencies differentiate Faust Management Corporation (FMC) from other consulting companies that provide strategic level consulting services to clients.

The first set of these competencies are in the realm of diagnostics. FMC uses a suite of powerful diagnostic tools that it has developed and refined over the past twenty years. These include: the Organizational Diagnostic Questionnaire, the Executive Insight® process, the Executive Insight Business Analysis Kit, and the Life Cycle Insight assessment.

The second set of distinctive FMC competencies consists of a unique set of approaches for addressing three levels of issues within the organization. The first level of issues is comprised of what we call Strategic Elements: Strategy, Structure, Information, and Rewards. The second level of issues involves ongoing strategic and operational problem solving within the organization. The third level is in changing the organization's culture.

The third set of competencies unique to FMC consists of a family of empowerment tools used to unleash the potential of the organization in response to priorities established in the diagnostic and strategic planning processes. These tools include copyrighted training programs in the areas of teamwork and problem solving such as Problem Solving for Responsible Managers and Peak Performance Problem Solving. Additional tools include a variety of books, video programs, audio programs, manuals, articles, training aids, and online executive education programs designed to support development activities with our clients initiated by FMC.

Our overall approach is different from many traditional consulting firms primarily because of the way we share responsibility for results. Because our resource base is comprised primarily of a broad group of Senior Consultants with proven executive level management skills, we are in a unique position to be able to work side by side with our clients on difficult problems. In all we do, we work to facilitate more openness, respect, trust and teamwork. We help business leaders and managers develop their personal skills and understanding, but our overriding priority with clients is always to improve the client company's value to its stakeholders.
